Aditya-L1 set to reach its destination on January 6: ISRO chief Somnath

India's Aditya-L1 solar mission is set to reach its L1 point on January 6 after successful manoeuvres. ISRO has 12-14 missions scheduled for 2024. The Gaganyaan mission will have two abort missions, parachute drop tests, and hundreds of valuation tests before the launch in 2025. The successful launch of XPoSat, India's first observation of black holes, placed the satellite into the intended orbit. India's achievements in 2023 include Chandrayaan-3's soft landing and the launch of Aditya-L1, fueling the private space sector. Future goals include the Gaganyaan Mission, Bharatiya Antariksha Station, and sending the first Indian to the Moon.
