NCLAT to start hearing Google plea on Play Store from Nov 28

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) will begin hearing Google's plea against the penalty imposed by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) on November 28. The penalty of Rs 936.44 crore was imposed on Google for abusing its dominant position with respect to Play Store policies. The NCLAT has directed all parties to file their replies within four weeks and given Google two weeks to file a rejoinder.
